부산대학교치과병원 재직 전공의 및 부산대학교치의학전문대학원 대학원생이 지난 8월 21일부터 23일까지 태국 방콕에서 열린 2nd Meeting of the International Association for Dental Research - Asia Pacific Region에서 잇단 수상 소식을 알려왔다.

부산대학교치의학전문대학원 DDS-phD course student, 구강미생물학 교실 박은주 학생이 ‘Activation of NLRP3 and AIM2 inflammasome by live P. gingivalis infection’라는 주제로 1등상(Hatton-Award)의 수상 영예를 안은 데 이어, 부산대학교치과병원 치과보철과에 재직 중인 이소현, 배지철 전공의가 연이어 수상자로 선정된 것.

이소현 전공의는 ‘Comparison of the accuracy of polyurethane model fabricated by the digital impression system and conventional stone model’ 라는 주제로 IADR Joseph Lister Awards를 수상했으며, 배지철 전공의는 ‘Effects of the immobilization of rhBMP-2 to implant modified by heparin on the biologic function, osseointegration and bone regeneration’ 발표를 통해 IADR Travel Awards를 수상했다.
